The kpdateapplet is fine.
I'm just too old (it seems). I've seen 10.1, which was bad right in package management and I would like to have alternative to PackageKit, just to have exit if new stuff fails in a new unexpected, but spectacular way. I actually don't know much about it, and even worse I don't want to know. I getting worn from learning new stuff every few months.
the problem is tat there is a kernelupgrade and another test program on the update repo thats messing everybody up. but the applet is working ok. anyway it can be updated by right clicking and configuring
All updates before Gold Master that is probably quite close, are tests for update system. After release date updates will be real.
By the way is opensuse 11.1alpha up already I have it installed and testing
Well, Factory repository can be already set for 11.2, Colo mentioned something like that, but Alpha 1, as any other development release , is Factory snapshot and it is not out yet. -- Regards, Rajko -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
