[opensuse-factory] Network and yast fails after the last update
Yesterday I made a complete update in the actual 10.2 alpha 3, and could'nt start the dsl connection, I got "pppd died, options error 2". If I try to reconfigure the dsl connection via yast, it closes when reads the configuration. With the network card, yast closes again. I downgrading dbus from *.92 to *.91 and the problem continues. The adsl modem is connected via ethernet. You should report stuff like this in Bugzilla. But I guess alpha's are only for people that REALLY know what they are doing. The real bugstracers. I (and you?) come around the corner at beta-level. Reporting the bug will help developers to know that something is going wrong. Nobody is asking for solution from us, the max that they will ask is some log file and to try something that will help them to clarify details. So my advice is to go to http://bugzilla.novell.com , log in and report the problem. -- Regards, Rajko. I could'nt fiind the configuration file in which are the option 'replacedefaultroute'
grep -i -R replacedefaultroute /etc/ppp/ should be in /etc/pppd/options. Only noreplacedefaultroute is a valid keyword, the opposite is default but invalid keyword. So just make that line look #noreplacedefaultroute Cheers -e -- Eberhard Moenkeberg (emoenke@gwdg.de, em@kki.org) --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
