[opensuse-factory] Re: boot messages
I'm getting the following errors at every boot. I have no clue what they mean. I am wondering if this is a TW problem or if this is really a Dell hardware problem? Any help will be appreciated. These are MCE errors, hardware (or firmware) Problems. You could try re-seating your memory DIMMs or checking if there is a BIOS update available. It's not a linux problem. -- Stefan Seyfried "For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for nature cannot be fooled." -- Richard Feynman -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
Ok, thanks for the info Stefan. Gmail is showing four previous messages of the same. Did those really go through to the list? They reported that there was a problem and they could not send them to the list (Gmail put html in them) and I had address issues as well. I finally used Kmail to get a message with no html that got delivered....had no idea all those others got delivered also. I apologize to the list for all the duplicate messages that got through that Google reported could not get through.....if that really happened. No, those did not get posted, I can't see them. You can confirm by looking at all the headers for "Received" or "Mailing-List" -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from 42.2 x86_64 "Malachite" at Telcontar)
Thanks for letting me know, Carlos.
