I'd rather not patch the installer if possible. You'll have to, I'm afraid :( Check https://devtalk.nvidia.com/default/topic/995429/linux/failed-installed-nvidi... There's a patch (and instructions) how to get nvidia-375.39 working. I patched my nvidia-bumblebee to include this, and it does work

Can someone tell me which Nvidia version I need to install to get a graphical login? I'd rather not patch the installer if possible.

I was able to figure out how to patch the needed files, with the help of Peter (Pit), and I'm now running with the 378.09 driver.
