[opensuse-factory] Adding approved rpm package groups
rpmlint complains, appropriately, when the package group does not belong to a list of approved groups. I am curious what the procedure is for adding groups to this list, since it seems to be missing a useful one that I have noticed: Productivity/Networking/Remote Desktop - this is already used by some packages (like krdc and rdesktop), and there are others that could belong to it (like libnx), and I don't really see a usable alternative amongst the approved list. -Todd -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

As we discussed on the packaging guidelines BoF at osc11, we agreed to get rid of most RPM groups and the rpmlint warning (update pending, hopefully). So you're safe to ignore this warning, Factory review doesn't care much anymore. -- Mit freundlichen Grüßen, Sascha Peilicke
