[opensuse-factory] WINDOWMANAGER environment variable
Hi! On http://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:SUSE_Studio_General_howtos#How_to_implement_... I saw the following command: while true do WINDOWMANAGER=/home/tux/bin/start.sh startx done I've never seen nor used WINDOWMANAGER before. Is this variable (Open)SUSE specific? Which program evaluates it? The startx manapge does not mention it. -- Thanks, //richard -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

It's interpreted by various scripts from xinit package. Just do grep -R WINDOWMANAGER /etc/X11/ to se which ones. Regards Michal Vyskocil
