I booted Leap 15.3 and discovered that dwarves version 1.22 is found on the running system, thus it is in the updates repo. Any suggestions on how to resolve this problem?

That's likely the difference between Leap:15.3 and Backports:SLE-15-SP3. The former has dwarves, the latter does not. I'm not sure what is the correct fix here. Maybe submit dwarves to Backports, maybe simply switch from Backports to Leap in Virtualization for 15.3... regards, -- js suse labs

Thanks. At least there is no hurry to get this package built. Oracle still has their BETA_2 and RC phases to go through before 7.0.0 is released. In the meantime, we are testing the BETA_1 code on Tumbleweed. So far, it looks good. Larry
