I have been having a problem in which the installer with default
kernel freezes when "Searching for Linux Partitions" during the
probing. This has been happening since 12.2 M1 - M3.
To resolve this I add "acpi=off" to the boot options.
This should not happen with the default kernel. Should I add this as
a bug under "Installation" or "Kernel" in Bugzilla?
If you tested other kernel and that doesn't happen, then bug is in
-default, so file with "kernel", otherwise, if not sure
as you used only -default for installation, use "installation".
Guys will figure out once they see the bug, provided that you mentioned
machine (hardware) and installation medium.
