[opensuse-factory] Re: syslog-ng update
Hello, 2010-03-24 13:29 keltezéssel, Marius Tomaschewski írta:
Just branch the package using e.g. osc bco Base:System syslog-ng
apply your changes to the checked out copy, review, commit and when you're ready, create a submit request. See "osc submitreq --help" and ".... --diff".
For some reason local build does not seem to work now, so this is something for tomorrow...
Same with the apparmor profile.
That is already done.
- I have now both 3.0 and 3.1 packages there, called syslog-ng and syslog-ng31. The ultimate goal is to include 3.1. Should I drop the current syslog-ng package and rename syslog-ng31 to syslog-ng?
When the 3.1 is released you can also update directly to 3.1...
It was released a few days ago, and runs perfectly on my machines. I compiled it now with SSL and database support disabled and all libs except glib dynamically.
