[opensuse-factory] UEFI installation - possible to set network settings *before* booting from the DVD?
Hi there, - disclaimer - I looked through various opensuse related lists/media, but couldn't find any information related to my issue, so, since I'm running a TW installation, I'm now asking here ;) I'm just trying to do my first UEFI installation with the current TW -Net DVD. So far I only did BIOS/CSM installations and as I have the whole distribution and update directories mirrored to my local network, I always used the F4 key and changed the installation server to point to my local server. This does not seem to be possible in the UEFI installation mode, doesn't it? I only see four entries Installation Upgrade Rescue System Check Installation Media but now key symbols to define some boot related settings. I'd rather avoid having to download everything once again when it is available here locally. Is it possible? If so, how? TIA, cheers. l8er manfred

Select the boot menu option you want Press E Edit/add the boot parameters you want, such as network settings. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
