These new interfaces subsume the functions of sqlite3_trace() and sqlite3_profile() which are now deprecated. * Added the json_quote() SQL function to the json1 extension. * Disable the authorizer callback while reparsing the schema. * Added the SQLITE_ENABLE_UNKNOWN_SQL_FUNCTION compile-time option and turned that option on by default when building the command-line shell. * Fix the ALTER TABLE command so that it does not corrupt descending indexes when adding a column to a legacy file format database. Ticket f68bf68513a1c15f * Fix a NULL-pointer dereference/crash that could occurs when a transitive WHERE clause references a non-existent collating sequence. Ticket e8d439c77685eca6. * Improved the cost estimation for an index scan which includes a WHERE clause that can be partially or fully evaluated using columns in the index and without having to do a table lookup. This fixes a performance regression that occurred for some obscure queries following the ORDER BY LIMIT optimization introduced in version 3.12.0. ==== vinagre ==== Subpackages: vinagre-lang - Enable rdp by default, since we now have the 2.0 branch in factory. Switch bcond_with rdp to bcond_without rdp. - Add vinagre-freerdp2.patch: make configure check for freerdp2, rather than just freerdp (bgo#765444). - Following the above patch: Replace pkgconfig(freerdp) for pkgconfig(freerdp2). Also add gnome-common BuildRequires and pass autreconf as the patch touches the buildsystem. Further add pkgconfig(appstream-glib) BuildRequires, new dependency after the port to freerdp2. ==== vym ==== Version update (2.5.4 -> 2.5.21) - Update to upstream 2.5.21 (Prerelease of 2.6.0) - 68 bugfixes / 17 features added ==== yelp ==== Subpackages: libyelp0 - Remove references and dependencies on susehelp - bsc#978692 - Removed yelp-2.13.5-use-susehelp.patch - it was disabled in the specfile anyway. - Update to GNOME 3.20 Fate#318572 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

Hello, Just as notification, I had lags after the latest TW update related to X because my graphical login was not starting anymore. I was using not official fontconfig libfreetype and so on, by Muzloacker repo because I think it results in a better font quality than the default ones but I get some inputs Googling about similar issues of failures starting X, so I revert back to oss-repo packages fontconfig and related packages and nos X is working again but now I loose the Cinnamon desktop which wants to switch in fallback mode. My video card is an Intel i915. I ran glxgear and it works normally, I have not any special boot kernel parameters on my grub2. Question 1: is there a way to get better font quality using another repo and packages without compromise the system? Question 2: which test/workaround should I try to correct Cinnamon issues? Thanks a lot and regards, -- Marco Calistri Opensuse Tumbleweed 64 bit - Kernel 4.5.0-3-default Gnome 3.20 Intel® Core™ i5-2410M CPU @ 2.30GHz × 4 - Intel® Sandybridge Mobile -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

=== Details === (snip)........ Hello,
Just as notification, I had lags after the latest TW update related to X because my graphical login was not starting anymore.
Thanks a lot and regards,
Hello, For the Cinnamon issue I resolved by downgrading the package: gdk-pixbuf-lang-2.40.16-1.2.x86_64 To the package: gdk-pixbuf-loader-rsvg-2.40.15-7.1.x86_64 Because I noticed and error by loading an svg image used into Cinnamon Theme. Sirs, You're right both, but I had to delete my previous yahoo and gmail previous account from opensuse.org M.L. which became not "compliant" in terms of what I want to get (I was missing my sent messages appearing on the list). Now I'm using my hotmail account which allows me to see my sent post on the list but I have not configured properly my e-mail client Thunderbird to work on a a text only M.L. and I wont to do it due the fact I use this account also for HTML email. Marco in Thunderbird it is quite easy to setup preference by addresses. So you can keep html for your normal workflow and ask only text mode for all *.opensuse.org. -- Bruno Friedmann Ioda-Net Sàrl www.ioda-net.ch Bareos Partner, openSUSE Member, fsfe fellowship GPG KEY : D5C9B751C4653227 irc: tigerfoot -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

I do not know what one has to do with the other. Thunderbird is capable of only sending non-HTML mails to one address and still send HTML mails to all others. Johannes

But you can not easily and safely set up Thunderbird, on the same account, for both html and plain text. In that case you have to configure the account for html, and each contact for plain text or html. It doesn't work well, last time I tried. -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. I've never had a problem with that. Just set the default and then go into the contact for the list and make it plain text. I tried that long ago and some emails were composed in html. I'm unsure if when clicking "send" they would be converted to text only or not. -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from 13.1 x86_64 "Bottle" at Telcontar)

True! It is as I did. Just I suggest to stop this thread right now because it is just "noise" I'm not interested about as I suppose are not the 99% of the readers of the M.L. The focus of my former email was understanding why upgrading the package: gdk-pixbuf-loader-rsvg-2.40.16-1.2.x86_64 apparently "break" my TW and was not understanding how to send a full compliant text message to opensuse-factory. A possibility is to have two gmail accounts, and use the second one for sending with the "from" set to the first one (ie, use the second one as relay). I haven't tested this, it is so far a theory. -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from 13.1 x86_64 "Bottle" at Telcontar)

Hi Carlos! Hi rememeber: you have been the first to discover the issue I faced and you provide me a lot of technotes. It is IMO "too much effort" to dedicate two separate GMAIL account just to use a M.L., I prefer to dedicate my time for matters much more interesting than this ;-) Ciao/Saludos -- Marco Calistri Opensuse Tumbleweed 64 bit - Kernel 4.7.0-2-default Gnome 3.20 Intel® Core™ i5-2410M CPU @ 2.30GHz × 4 - Intel® Sandybridge Mobile -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

Ok! Good to know you found a solution by using hotmail. I would not have thought of it, being a microsoft platform. If you want solutions for your problems, you want people to read your mails. So fixing your MUA to send in plain text (either with TB's settings or via two accounts or whatever else there is) is just a way to ensure people are not blocking your mails... Johannes
