Hello, I'm the maintaner of the above-mentioned package and I've grown tired of doing so, especially because it seems like too much of a specialised piece of software.

Therefore my intention is to retire it and have it live inside science.

So, I have two questions for you all: are there download stats (even just from the main repository) supporting the idea that's not particularly popular?

Alternatively is there anyone willing to take it up?
