Nope, doesn't work with sftp:// either. Keeps asking for the password

This just keeps going - the dialog pops up, I click cancel, wait 5 secs, the dialog pops up, I click cancel, ad infinitum. I think your problem might be with ksshaskpass, and not kwallet, if kwallet is otherwise working.

Yes, better than sftp, but doesn't always request a password from kwallet. Seems to be time related. But I cannot say for sure. It may be that dolphin itself want's a password for access to kwallet rather than the particular site (kwallet contains site's password).

Hmm, must be something in my installation then.
