As Vincent so kindly mentioned, work is under way. Just to emphasise a few points: * The focus is for the ARMv7 architecture and above, which means Cortex-A5/A7/A8/A9/A15 (although most devices are primarily A9 or A8). * This is a community effort, so if you want things to happen faster you will need to help out ;) * As a result of the above, timelines will not be guaranteed ;) * We are hoping to have a 12.2 release this month (no promises though) * Initial device support will be limited Regards, Andy -- Andrew Wafaa IRC: FunkyPenguin GPG: 0x3A36312F -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

Does it mean that all oS software will be working on ARM or only the key subsystems? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

By device I mean hardware - OMAP powered devices like Pandaboard(ES), Beagleboard will have the best support, Efika will be headless only ... Almost all software from the stock distro should work. -- Andrew Wafaa IRC: FunkyPenguin GPG: 0x3A36312F -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

Hi! Some one knows if the ULINK2 Debug Adapter is supported and is a compatible software in Opensuse? http://www.keil.com/ulink2/ In windows, it uses the standard HID usb drivers from system. Isn't that a bit contemporary? Surely KDE 3 would feel at home on m68k ;).
