False alarm! I reinstalled the bootloader by Yast and Plymouth is working again. Sorry, I1ve to revert my previous commentary, the issue is still present after a system power-off/power-on: three question-marks blinking on place of the Plymouth greeter. What you are/were seeing is still Plymouth. It is the plymouth text mode theme. For me, the problem is intermittent. I see the text mode theme around 50% of the time, and the graphic theme the other 50%. My system uses Intel graphics (as yours apparently does). It is possibly an issue with the Intel driver. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

Yes Neil, I have the i915 driver but with previous snapshot (the one talking about Mesa and others video packages) the issue was not appearing anymore instead after latest snapshot it comes up again. Not so critical, just annoying thing I can say.
