[opensuse-factory] xine and Milestone #2 (of 12.2)

Are there any fans of xine (to view DVDs, TV, play music) here and, if so, have you managed to get it to run under Milestone #2 - 32-bit? Although I can get vlc to run successfully, I have hit a brick wall about getting xine to run. As is starts it comes up with an error message that it doesn't have a recognisable 'channels.conf'. From reading the doco for xine, it seems that it now requires the 'channels.conf' to be located in a new spot - and which I created especially for xine. I created the channels.conf using W_SCAN which I have used for years. Can anybody using xine successfully under MS #2 point me in the direction which would solve my hassle? My Thanks in advance.
