Patrick Shanahan: Thanks for his emails. I have sent him a letter to both emails. >> =============================================== >> What do you think of the package? > > not much needed in linux as we already have openssh. What purpose > does it fill? 1. This thing could be said nearly about anything in Linux. Why add Emacs when we have vim? Why add GNOME if we have KDE? Why use GUI if we have CLI ? Answer: This package is different. It is more configurable GUI-wise. OpenSSH lacks GUI. Answer2: Windows Admins know Putty. Some of them are using Windows Desktop (+putty)+Linux servers. This will allow us to bring them to Linux desktop. -- -Alexey Eromenko "Technologov" --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
