maybe it's not worth doing it for just 7 packages.
...but it has the advantage to keep all packages needed for development together, even if these are not packages that you would expect in graphics in the first run (e.g. civetweb, docbook5-xsl-stylesheets, gtest) Other suggestion where to place it? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

googletest and docbook_5 are already in the distribution, so nothing needs to be done for those. That is, unless you need other versions for old openSUSE targets. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

I see docbook5-xsl-stylesheets only available up to Leap 42.3 - or did the name change somehow? In general I have no problem to use graphics as devel-project, unless you have no problem with branching in all packages that are needed for build (and are not yet in Leap15/TW) Cheers Axel -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

The built package is still callled docbook5-xsl-stylesheets, but the source package is called docbook-xsl, available in all distro versions. Though I fail to see where it is used in the builds at all ... I commented on the use of e.g. libboost_date_time1_69_0-devel directly in the package comments already. Well, graphics itself should be fine, and science seems like another valid choice. I think I'd go with science, because this isn't really about graphics, it's about handling scientific data (if I understand this correctly).
