[opensuse-factory] zypper and YaST update differently
#zypper ref #zypper up -t package After running these YaST still shows a great lot of packages (update if newer version is available), although Zypper says "Nothing to do". Bug in the solver, fixed in libsatsolver-0.9.2. According to YaST there's no version of libsatsolver installed at all. -- Vahis --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

Probably its because the package is called satsolver-tools in the factory repositorie: linux-trt3:/home/teste # rpm -q -a | grep sats satsolver-tools-0.9.1-2 regards, Luiz --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

Wrong. Package satsolver-tools contains only tools for work with satsolver files. There is no shared library (.so) for libsatsolver, only statically linked libsatsolver.a in libsatsolver-devel. This piece of code is also linked into libzypp.so (no need for separate shared library). -- Best Regards / S pozdravom, Pavol RUSNAK SUSE LINUX, s.r.o Package Maintainer Lihovarska 1060/12 PGP 0xA6917144 19000 Praha 9, CR prusnak[at]suse.cz http://www.suse.cz --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
