last weekend i like to install a new Version of Leap and later Tumbleweed but this is not possible ?

I download the ISO's three Times and control the checksum and change the computer for burning, but it is NOT possible to install this versions in EFI Mode.

I last installed Tw on a laptop about six months ago by following the instructions on https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Tumbleweed_installation

I downloaded the livd cd, burned the iso to a usb stick, .. Now memory is cloudy, but booted from the stick. Cannot remember procedure to allow starting system from stick using efi.

Then installed Tw from the live image.

You don't say how you proceeded.

ps: The iso may still be broken, I don't know. It was remarked early October that the iso's were not installable. ?? The reasons for "not possible" vary from CD medium error, installer crashes, power outage, house burnt down, "I was on holiday" ... to general galaxy expansion issues. ;-)

You didn't tell us what you were trying to do, and what you got exactly, so I wouldn't expect too precise answers ...

I can't tell anything, I burn the DVD's and make a start from this DVD's but the System crash, only a reset is possible. I can't see anything ? only the cursor is on.

Can you get at least to EFI shell? then probably some EFI debugging is needed to check what can be wrong. Like if DVD is seen, turn on some debugging and more.

Problem can be new shim as mentioned below, also some changes in EFI handling code or whatever, really hard to quess it without debugging.

If you hit the problem with Secure Boot turned ON, then it was most likely the new shim upgrade with new openSSL patch that crashes on some hardware models. https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=950569 Thanks, Michael
