Please check the known defects of this snapshot before upgrading: https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/overview?distri=opensuse&groupid=1&version=Tumbleweed&build=20161024 When you reply to report some issues, make sure to change the subject. Not offline, maybe too busy syncing everything to the mirrors? -- Gertjan Lettink, a.k.a. Knurpht openSUSE Board Member openSUSE Forums Team -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
Our TW publishing orchestration typically holds back a new snapshot until a number of our mirrors have had time to syncronise the new snapshot. The purpose of that is precisely to prevent this problem. For some reason, this did not happen tonight, so everyone is currently hitting the core download server, which cannot handle all the traffic Please be patient, the team is looking at it as I type this. I would expect we'll have this snapshot out to mirrors over the coming hours. if you hold back your `zypper dup --no-allow-vendor-change` for a few hours, you make life easier for everyone Thanks Rich On 26 October 2016 at 11:55, Knurpht - Gertjan Lettink <knurpht@opensuse.org> wrote:
