Yeah - I saw something like that too in a VM. Does it matter whether your "right-click" menu goes to LXDE or to OpenBox? I've got an LXDE VM open at the moment ... stand by ... Yep ... it's reproducible. Press the "Stop" button, choose "Logout" and get a command line login prompt with LXDM. This is a 32-bit VirtualBox guest with the guest additions installed from the ISO image supplied by the host (VBox 4.2 beta). I've attached .xsession-errors if that tells anyone anything.
