[opensuse-factory] intel on suse-prime doesn't recognize external monitor
Last time I was on Intel It worked, but yesterday I switched from nvidia to intel and found out it doesn't recognize the second screen anymore. I saw some discussion about suse-prime related bugs here so I thought maybe this is not enough for a bug report, and a mail here would suffice. I switched back to intel to report that modesetting doesn't seem to work for me, but now I have this other issue. Today I got an update to suse-prime package but the problem persists. No relevant log entry appears when I plug the monitor. The only entries that could be relevant are these: [ 849.929651] [drm:intel_pipe_update_end [i915]] *ERROR* Atomic update failure on pipe A (start=51445 end=51446) time 984 us, min 1073, max 1079, scanline start 1053, end 6 [ 861.924923] [drm:intel_pipe_update_end [i915]] *ERROR* Atomic update failure on pipe A (start=52165 end=52166) time 630 us, min 1073, max 1079, scanline start 1047, end 1083 By the way, modesetting was broken but seems to be working now.
