[opensuse-factory] kdm does not start in factory in VirtualBox
After changing the oss and non-oss repository of my openSUSE 12.1 M5 system to the factory ones, running "zypper up", and a reboot, kdm does not start anymore (there are no other repositories activated). Or rather it starts but it produces the error messages "X server died during startup" and "X server for display :0 cannot be started, session disabled". Any workaround? nomodeset does not change anything, nor does SystemV or systemd. -- fr.gr. Anything in your Xorg.0.log or in log/messages? Greetings, Stephan -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

In log/messages see above. In Xorg.0.log there is a message that the module vboxvideo is not loaded because the driver version (8) does not match the server version (10). -- fr.gr.
