x86-64-v3 libraries post build checks
Hi: It seems there are no targeted build checks for x86-64-v3 otherwise I won't have libraries without at least .note.gnu.property x86 ISA used: ... x86-64-v3 is there any plan to implement something like: - If only x86-64-baseline is found , build fail the v3 package (or just discard as dup?) since x86-64-vN is not used and this package will just add clutter. - if only x86-64-baseline and x86-64-v2 are found ... badness or err ? not sure. After all you are saying it is v3 when it isn't. - if > x86-64-v3 found a notice or warning because this might be either the wrong set of flags used or code has runtime checks that allow newer instructions to be used. Some kind of check like this should be IMHO added or the amount of clutter will beggar belief in a few months/years.
