Hello List - any idea please why KGpg is being removed ?? : i fear the loss of valuable editor functions of familiar gpg front-end - will the key management window and editor now be lost ? ........... thanks regards -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

It is still there. I saw: The following 7 applications are going to be REMOVED: Ark digiKam Dolphin GStreamer Multimedia Codecs KGpg Marble Showfoto But, later in the same output: The following 690 packages are going to be upgraded: ... kfilemetadata kgamma kget kgpg kio_audiocd kio_kamera kipi-plugins So "Application Kgpg" was removed (not sure what that means), but package "kgpg" was upgraded. Perhaps a "Kgpg.desktop" file was removed from somewhere. I still see Kgpg on the KDE menu. I still do not see it on the XFCE menu. And the program "/usr/bin/kgpg" is still there. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

- my understanding is very Limited :( - suspect that KGpg might be the Front-End which provides "Editor" function ? thanks regards -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

My understanding is that this is about _applications_ , which is different from packages. Apparently support for objects like _applications_ in zypper is not mature at this moment. -- fr.gr.
