Hi, does anybody else have the problem of no column sorting in yast2 qt software manager. I opened bug https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=478041 which was made a duplicate of https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=474331 which doesn't look the same to me and the test for a qt4 problem passed with me. Am I the only one who can't sort columns in software management? I am experiencing the same problem. I checked out bug 474331, but with me it doesn't make any difference whether I am using the mouse or the touchpad. Neither one is working regarding sorting.
However it could very well be that these two bugs are still related to each other as that my Xorg.log is reporting to utilize the evdev driver. What I can remember is that a number of issues appeared after the change of the Xserver version. Most of them I could resolve by setting the right keyboard within KDE4 (as that this is no longer taken from the xorg.conf file), but this sorting issue within YaST2 remains.
Regards
Raymond The bug that mine was made a duplicate of was for 11.1 and AFAIK 11.2's

I've this problem, too.
For me its in 32 and 64 bit factory. Maybe so few recognized it so far, because they only do zypper (d)up.

Dave and Daniel, I am using the latest Factory i586 build and I am running KDE4-Unstable. I rather use YaST Software Management to preform the updates then to use zypper. Find it easier :-) What mouse driver are you using according to the /var/log/Xorg.0.log ? Is this the evdev driver ? The current Factory version of Xorg is no longer utilizing the xorg.conf file to handle the mouse and keyboard drivers. If the logfile is indicating the use of evdev, then maybe both bugs are indeed related to each other (however with different effects/issues) Regards Raymond -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

If I click my mouse on the column header the sort arrow appears in the header and toggles up and down but no sorting takes place. I am reopening my original bug because I have come to the conclusion it is not a duplicate.
