Mesa-vulkan-device-select-32bit gone?
I've found that with the update to Mesa 21.1.0 the package Mesa-vulkan-device-select-32bit isn't available. Is this dropped now or is there some temporary cause for its absence? Steam (non-OSS, I know) is still requiring this package. thanks, -- Jason Craig

Thanks for the feedback. That's interesting. With Mesa 21.1.0 libVkLayer_MESA_device_select.so libVkLayer_MESA_overlay.so have been removed. I couldn't figure out yet why. I assumed these wouldn't be used by anyone. Is Steam requiring the package or the libraries themselves? Actually I didn't remove the packages, but I think -32bit packages are not generated, if they don't contain any libs. It was not removed, just the config option changed pre 21.1: -Dvulkan-device-select-layer=true \ -Dvulkan-overlay-layer=true \ 21.1+: -Dvulkan-layers=device-select,overlay \

Thanks a lot! Good catch. Unfortunately such radical changes are no longer communicated upstream when releasing a minor update to Mesa. :-( Fixed now and submitted to Factory/TW. That appears to have done it. Thanks for the quick fix! -- Jason Craig

It looks like Steam is requiring Mesa-vulkan-device-select-32bit, but it is also requiring some libraries like libvulkan_intel-32bit, libvulkan_radeon-32bit as well. -- Jason Craig
