I just replaced a failed UPS with a APC unit that uses a USB connection. I hooked it up to my Tumbleweed system. I notice on rebooting that I see a Battery status widget in the System Tray. Is it supported out of the box on the Plasma desktop? I configured my Power Settings as it it is anyway. I figured I'd have to struggle with the crufty old APC monitoring application and it's configuration file. If this consumer grade APC BE550G UPS is supported out of the box I'd say fantastic.
