[opensuse-factory] 5-year old "bug"! just moving KDE/Kontact Calendar events between calendars?
Hi, While moving all my data from Macs to RC2, I setup multiple calendars in KDE Kontact, similar to what I had in OSX. After trying to figure out how to simply move an Event from one calendar to another, or just assign one in the first place for that matter (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kdepim/+bug/428156 ?), it looks like it's not possible at the moment. There's a bug (https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=381503) that both W Stephenson & S Kulow commented on back in 2008, which is marked RESOLVED for 11.0. I'm not sure what that means, since that bug tracks back to http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=72531, opened 2004-01-13. It's seems like this is just not getting done 'upstream'. At least as of 2009-10 people are still posting bug comments about it. I think this is pretty basic functionality. At least I can't honestly see moving people to a PIM where it's not possible. How can this get fixed in / for OpenSuse 11.2 RELEASE, which is frankly where I care about it getting fixed. Can any of the 'heavyweights' here chime in upstream again? Or can it be addressed just in this Project? Thanks. BenDJ -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

This is not a bug but a feature request and the upstream feature has 220 votes, which doesn't even enter the top 100 of most wanted KDE features. So vote for the upstream feature if you want it.
