[opensuse-factory] SR opengl-games-utils heads-up

Just a heads-up, since I've been told people don't pay much attention to the games project: I sent an SR for opengl-games-utils[0] yesterday that I need before pushing it to factory, which I need to push vegastrike to factory. A tongue-twister I know. Ie: please take a look :-) Vielen dank -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

Does such a script still make sense? There is any hardware for which DRI is not available anymore? Perhaps it would be easier to just don't use it in vegastrike. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

There is the possibility of running in vesa mode, or perhaps non-3d-capable drivers (even though the hardware is capable). The worst part, is that with modern MESA, the game launches fine, but runs horrendously slow. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
