openSUSE:Factory - Build fail notification
Dear Package maintainers and hackers. Below package(s) in openSUSE:Factory have been failing to build for at least 4 weeks. We tried to send out notifications to the configured bugowner/maintainers of the package(s), but so far no fix has been submitted. This probably means that the maintainer/bugowner did not yet find the time to look into the matter and he/she would certainly appreciate help to get this sorted. - OpenImageIO - WSL-DistroLauncher - ack - csync - fakeroot - firecracker - git-deps - grub - hg-fast-export - httpie - kitty - libsvm - machinery - mingw32-gcc - mingw64-gcc - nml - openrdate - pgloader - pixmap - prewikka - pure-ftpd - python-PyInstaller - python-djangorestframework-simplejwt - python-flask-jwt-extended - python-pytest-black - python-pytest-filter-subpackage - python-pytest-ordering - python-pytest-subtests - python-python-poppler - python-restview - python-ruamel.yaml.cmd - rss2email - scsh - soundconverter - supertuxkart - tamil-gtk2im - tint2 - ubi_reader - universal-ctags - wbxml2 - whipper - wine-nine-standalone - zaz - zramcfg Unless somebody is stepping up and submitting fixes, the listed package(s) are going to be removed from openSUSE:Factory. - ack
I use it quite actively, so I will try to look why it failing. From first sight it looks like some issue with symlinking, so maybe result of usrmerge?
- grub
Note, this is grub1, not the one that is default during installation. Josef

- OpenImageIO
I submitted the build fixes to graphics. If no other maintainer will accept it until tomorrow, I will. Please note, that this requires a new version of the OpenShadingLanguage package as well (also supplied). The latter needs disabling LTO for some obscure reasons in flex/bison generated files. Just in case, some brilliant mind want to dive into it.. Stefan? Cheers, Pete
