Hi, I'm going to submit a new Mozilla JS engine to Factory. It'll be a new set of packages and no update for existing ones. New packages are named libmozjs-17_0 - containing the library mozjs17 - currently more or less empty (could hold the JS interpreter but the interpreter can only be built statically linked currently and so I left it out for now. If there is any need for a command line JS interpreter, please let me know. mozjs17-devel - include and pkg-config file mozjs-17.0.pc and as you can see from the version numbering it is based on the ESR17 version. The existing JS engine libmozjs185-1_0 js js-devel will be dropped afterwards. Please migrate your packages to use the new engine once it appears in Factory.
