[opensuse-factory] Strange routing-behavour with wlanadapter rtl8187b
Hallo Liste, I run the above wlanadapter in a Toshiba Satellite A310 on a x86_64 system with the latest opensuse 2.6.31-rc6-3-desktop I configured the adapter with yast an ifup. When i start the wlan with ifup wlan0 it connects to my router (fritzbox wlan) and i can go online. the routing at this time looks like this: /home/user # route Kernel IP Routentabelle Ziel Router Genmask Flags Metric Ref Use Iface 192.168.178.0 * 255.255.255.0 U 0 0 0 wlan0 link-local * 255.255.0.0 U 0 0 0 wlan0 loopback * 255.0.0.0 U 0 0 0 lo default fritz.fonwlan.b 0.0.0.0 UG 0 0 0 wlan0 When i disconnect the wlan or it does it by itself, the next time i connect i have no more connection to the internet. The route then looks so: /home/user # route Kernel IP Routentabelle Ziel Router Genmask Flags Metric Ref Use Iface 192.168.178.0 * 255.255.255.0 U 0 0 0 wlan0 link-local * 255.255.0.0 U 0 0 0 wlan0 loopback * 255.0.0.0 U 0 0 0 lo default 192.168.178.1 0.0.0.0 UG 0 0 0 wlan0 This default IP is the adress of the router, i am connected to the router but can not go online. The routingtable does not change until i shut down the machine. A restart does not change it too. I also noticed the wlan did not start in windows when i booted from Suse. First after the shutdown the route changed to the first entry an i can go online again. Can someone help.
