[opensuse-factory] fsck boot error
I did a clean install today of factory and during first boot up I get a fsck error. A screenshot is attached, but it you can't open it, the gist of the error is that fsck can't find fsck.btrfs and puts my btrfs partition to read only. I am given the option of mounting my root partition myself, but this quietly fails. Anybody know what's up? Thanks, Steve
Hi, This error happened to me too. The binary fsck.brtfs is not present in the media :\ On Mon, Sep 19, 2011 at 00:10, Steven Sroka <sroka.steven@gmail.com> wrote:

Hi, it is a known issue with a fix in the queue https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=599224 probably needs installation-images to rebuild Ciao Bernhard M. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.18 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ iEYEARECAAYFAk53ENUACgkQSTYLOx37oWTtfwCg92UIlONueZtQF1+y2ndt+pk/ /4wAn11YQtZT5dGIqiSBp7bfdGlW+ifl =cXEZ -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

I got it (build 250) to boot by using the rescue system to mount the root partition and adding a symlink for /sbin/fsck.btrfs to /bin/true -- Richard (MQ) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
