[opensuse-factory] RC1 - Question 4: Cclone System for AutoYast
At the end of the installation process, just prior to the initial login, there is the option to CLONE SYSTEM FOR AUTOYAST. This option is not functioning. I have never used it before but tried it at the last install of RC1 (2 days ago) and couldn't get it activated (clicking on the tickbox produced no result). Again, is it just with my installation, please? If you did consider this a Bug and you had searched Bugzilla for it, you would probably have found Bug 366458
Obviously I need to refine my search technique in Bugzilla and so thanks for the bug number. However, this bug was found in Alpha 2 and all the discussion took place in the first week of March; the bug is also marked RESOLVED. Today is the 2 June and I am talking about RC1 and the bug is still in place..... <FX: shrugs shoulders> Oh, well............. (probably already answered, just skimming through my new messages...) I noticed that, in contrast to previous versions, a number of packages has to be _manualy_ selected, otherwise the "clone checkbox" does not function any more. (autoyast, xml-stuff...) Anyway, you can still generated such xml-fle afterward...
