Re: [opensuse-factory] Two Huawei modems fail the same way
HI, So does each one works fine lonely?
Vahis 06/30/10 2:22 AM >>> I have Two Huawei sticks, E169 and E160. Both work fine in 11.2 (already got them to work in 11.0)
When plugged into 11.2 VBox host they both work fine, both in XP and W7 guests. But in 11.3 factory guest they both fail. Apparently because "udev fails". Unfortunately I haven't tried them between 11.2 and current factory so I don't know if this has been there all the way thru milestones, sorry for that. Any ideas anybody? HI,
So does each one works fine lonely?
I haven't tried them simultaneously, I'll do that a bit later for interest. But I can use either of them in anything else, in 11.3 factory they both give the same result that I posted. When plugged into 11.2 VBox host they both work fine, both in XP and W7 guests.
But in 11.3 factory guest they both fail.
I have now tried both E160 and E169 separately in following VBox guests: XP 32 bit Win7 64 bit 11.0 Live KDE 32 and 64 11.1 Live KDE 32 and 64 11.2 Live KDE 32 and 64 All the Above work just fine. I tried them in 11.3 rc1 KDE and 11.3 rc2 KDE and Gnome I ran them live and then also installed them. I get all the same errors in every version This is something perhaps interesting: linux kernel: [ 533.366562] option: option_instat_callback: error -108 Am I the only one with this? Maybe this only happens in VBox? I'll install on real HW in a few days... -- Vahis -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
