[opensuse-factory] Adding a server to YaST sofware repositories
Why is it that I have to look at an flashing screen when I am adding a software repository? It looks really ugly and is hard on the eyes. This was most recently observed when attempting to add the release candidate for OpenOffice into the list of repositories. Now that the repository has been updated and therefor works the problem has gone away. So the clue here is a repository (i.e. OpenOffice RC1) that was discussed earlier on this forum was stuck in some weird state for awhile. Here is what I did though to get to the failure: YaST->Software Management->Software Repositories-> Add Added an http site to the SUSE
At that point the primary window for adding software would blink on and off in concert with an error message window.
