[opensuse-factory] Can someone forward the binutils SR 315982 from devel:gcc to openSUSE:Factory:ARM
Hi, binutils failed due to the qemu "Argument list too long" problem. This problem was worked around by https://build.opensuse.org/request/show/315982 Without the patch binutils may fail to build anytime it is build non-native, i.e. with help from qemu-<arch>-binfmt. Currently, bintuils for armv6l failed due to this problem. This leads to various further bugs, as the last built binutils, 2.23, has unsufficient support for the GCC5 libstdc++ ABI. I looked on build.opensuse.org and could not find any result for the armv6l architecture, which is what this is about. For armv7l the version is 2.25.0, which is OK. I did build this package for version 2.25.1 on my Raspberry Pi 1B with a positive result. After building the newest libzypp, which succeeded, I got stuck.
