Hey guys, I figured you were far enough along to start testing 11 on my spare hard drive. Any way, I can't seem to get it past the system probing screen. THe last line on the alt-f1 screen is; QIconvCODEC::convertToUnicode: using ASCII for conversion, icon_open failed on the f8 screen: (EE) FBDEV (0): FBIOBLANK: Invalid arguement on f7: last line above progress bar is probing hard disk controllers I hope this helps. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

Switch to console 3 using Alt-F3: Probably you find a Kernel Oops related to parallel port. Workaround is to use this boot parameters: hwprobe=-parallel,-misc.par -- Best regards, Mit freundlichen Gruessen, Andreas Vetter Fakultaet fuer Physik und Astronomie Universitaet Wuerzburg --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
