[opensuse-factory] grub2.spec in OBS: The file you look at is not valid UTF-8 text. Please convert the file.
That is what I get when I try to view https://build.opensuse.org/package/view_file?expand=1&file=grub2.spec&package=grub2&project=openSUSE%3A12.3 in browser. Could someone explain what it does not like? I guess it started to happen after duwe patches :p TIA -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

One of the author's name "Vesa Jääskeläinen", character encoding is iso-8859-1 (Latin-1), use the hexdump to see it's character code is 'e4', not 'c3 a4' used by utf-8. The entire document then is considered as iso-8859-1 format. Maybe an issue of editor settings. In my case if I open a new vim tab window and copy that string and save as new file, it automatically trans that iso-8859-1 character to utf-8. Thanks, Michael

I fixed it in Base:System, but since it is not really an urgent fix, I did not submit it to Factory. And as I'm personally trying to avoid grub2 like the plague, I cannot even test it :-) -- Stefan Seyfried "If your lighter runs out of fluid or flint and stops making fire, and you can't be bothered to figure out about lighter fluid or flint, that is not Zippo's fault." -- bkw -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
