That is sort of little information. What version do you use? Anyway, at this moment you should try to use y2pmsh (if not installed try to install using rpm -i packagename.rpm) Yast, rug and all the others are a bit broken at the moment. (you can use rug also: http://en.opensuse.org/Factory_via_rug) but that takes a long time and if you add the services it looks like rug hangs but it just takes a looooooong time. Azerion

funny, the iformnation for this file says: This is a debugging and development tool, not to be used by the average user.:-) Yast, rug and all the others are a bit broken at the moment. (you can use

As a side note: In HP-UX maching existing software with available updates took over 40 minutes on a typical machine. After years (really) I posted to the newsgroup that I cannot really understand why it takes so long. After a few relases, the same process only took a few seconds. Now for SuSE: The complaining was done already, now waiting for the fix... ;-) Regards, Ulrich

I guess you give us time for a few releases as well ;-). Hope we can do it sooner but no promises for 10.1 yet, Andreas -- Andreas Jaeger, aj@suse.de, http://www.suse.de/~aj/ SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, Maxfeldstr. 5, 90409 Nürnberg, Germany GPG fingerprint = 93A3 365E CE47 B889 DF7F FED1 389A 563C C272 A126
