regards,
I think perhaps he needs to clone a new git repository and follow the build instructions on http://amarok.kde.org/wiki/2.0_Development_HowTo That's what I did after Donn reported the problem and I have the amarok 2.4-git built as a rpm using checkinstall, installed and working on 12.1 Milestone 0 x86_64. It's definitely not an openSUSE issue. Regards Sid. -- Sid Boyce ... I got some more information from Donn. It's possible/likely that during an update zypper in resolving conflicts offered i586 packages as replacements for already installed x86_64 packages and the i586 offer was accepted. I'd suggest a check with "rpm -qa|grep i586". Regards Sid. -- Sid Boyce ...
