[opensuse-factory] KDE - How do I view a CD with 12.1
All, I just upgraded my workstation to 12.1 (really -rc1 I think) via zypper dup last weekendn. I put a CD in my drive, but at least with KDE I'm not able to view it with Dolphin as I'm used to. Is there a trick, or a bug? Thanks Greg -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

It also appears there's no way to eject a disc in "My Computer". -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

C.
When you move the mouse pointer over the disc, there's a little pop up that says "Press the right mouse button for more options (such as Mount or Eject)". So this would indicate that the function is supposed to be there. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

In earlier versions, it was possible to right click on the mounted disc and select "Eject". While I'm certainly no stranger to using the command line, many others are. So, this is something that's broken and should be fixed. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

Do not make things so hard eject /dev/sr0 Do not expect everybody to use CLI. If everybody was CLI oriented, we wouldn't have the GTK/KDE fights. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

In this case, as the CLI does not work, the problem is worse. The GUI will not work. - -- Cheers, Carlos E. R. Yes, my CD is not there either. And if I go to the command line, it's not showing up in /media like I think it did with 11.4 Greg -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
I added my info to:

I'd vote for that bug, but I don't remember how.
