Hi, we added the "mscgen" utility [1] to the "graphics" devel project [2] about two months ago, and now I would like to see it added to Factory for subsequent inclusion in Tumbleweed, etc. Mscgen does not appear to be in active development, unfortunately. The home page seems unmaintained, the link to the source code repository points to a Google Code project that no longer exists, and so far the author hasn't responded to my e-mails either. On the other hand, the code is stable, works well, and several other distributions ship it as well. I don't anticipate any significant maintenance effort in order to keep this tool building. Furthermore, there is wide-spread support for Mscgen in other tools like Asciidoc and Doxygen, so clearly there is an interest in this sort of thing.
