re: [opensuse-factory] Tumbleweed - Review of the week 2020/35
Thanks a lot to Dominique for the hard work. I'm looking forward to the kernel 5.8.4 update, which should fix a major squashfs regression that breaks live Tumbleweed ISOs at the moment. Any estimation on when it should arrive? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

That fix will actually be in our 5.8.2 kernel already - which will be part of the next snapshot that will be published. As this is the massive-rebuild snapshot and openQA only just started, I can't make any prediction yet if this snapshot can really go out (but I have high hopes that we can publish something over the weekend). As for 5.8.4 itself, that will be checked in proibably today or tomorrow - and so will be reaching you somewhen next week. Cheers, Dominique
