Hello and happy new year! After installing LaTeX (zypper in texlive-latex), neither latex nor pdflatex work for me. They abort with the following lines: kpathsea: Running mktexfmt latex.fmt mktexfmt [ERROR]: -user mode but path setup is -sys type, bailing out. I can't find the format file `latex.fmt'! similarly, for pdflatex: kpathsea: Running mktexfmt pdflatex.fmt mktexfmt [ERROR]: -user mode but path setup is -sys type, bailing out. I can't find the format file `pdflatex.fmt'!
