I confirm those missing packages from the repository. Also there seems to be a much serious breakage going on, because chown doesn't work anymore. My KDE4 desktop doesn't start properly anymore since the last factory update, most likely because of the missing branding packages. I can still launch programs with [Alt+F2]. silviu:~ # getent passwd | grep test test:x:501:100:Test:/home/test:/bin/bash silviu:~ # chown test /home/test --recursive chown: changing ownership of `/home/test/bin': No data available chown: changing ownership of `/home/test/Documents/.directory': No data available chown: changing ownership of `/home/test/Documents': No data available chown: changing ownership of `/home/test/.bashrc': No data available chown: changing ownership of `/home/test/.mozilla': No data available chown: changing ownership of `/home/test/public_html/.directory': No data available chown: changing ownership of `/home/test/public_html': No data available chown: changing ownership of `/home/test/.bash_history': No data available chown: changing ownership of `/home/test/.inputrc': No data available chown: changing ownership of `/home/test/.xinitrc.template': No data available chown: changing ownership of `/home/test/.profile': No data available chown: changing ownership of `/home/test/.emacs': No data available chown: changing ownership of `/home/test/.fonts': No data available chown: changing ownership of `/home/test/.xim.template': No data available chown: changing ownership of `/home/test': No data available --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

silviu:~ # zypper refresh Repository 'openSUSE-extra-FTP 11.0': the status check has been delayed. Repository 'mozilla': the status check has been delayed. Repository 'openSUSE-FACTORY 11.0': the status check has been delayed. All repositories have been refreshed. "status check has been delayed" means that the repository is pending synchronization and zypper is able to detect that? --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

Not really, there is a time delay between each refresh determined by repo.refresh.delay configuration. -- "Freedom of religion also means freedom **from** religion" - Anonymous Cristian Rodríguez R.
