Re: [opensuse-factory] good news :)
James PEARSON wrote I just reinstalled tonight using the Milestone 7 DVD and when it re booted I did a zypper dup and installed some 700 new rpms. When my machine rebooted - it had no mouse (the mouse is a Logitech) - I rebooted twice - same problem. On Thu, 1 Oct 2009 13:21:36 +0100 Neil Stalker <nestalk@googlemail.com> wrote:
I had the same problem,if you add Option "AutoAddDevices" "off" into /etc/X11/xorg.conf under the ServerFlags section you should get your mouse back.

Thank you for the come back! Actually I didn't have a xorg.conf file under /etc/X11 - so what I did was to copy an xorg.conf file from another machine (oS v11.1 but +/- the same physical components) which was running a custom 2.6.30.2 kernel - with your option added. Worked like a charm. Much obliged! TIA James -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
