I have no idea on how to fix these problems upstream. Is there a way for me to patch package lists, etc. and not have them be overwritten from upstream?
It seems the bug is that gdm is required by the KDE livecd now. This is surely wrong, and you'd need to find out why this occurs, or blacklist gdm for the KDE livecd in package-lists (see files at http://gitorious.org/opensuse/package-lists/trees/master/opensuse) Cheers, Vincent -- Les gens heureux ne sont pas pressés. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

KDE shouldn't require gdm - that's simply :) Greetings, Stephan -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

Using today's package lists, both the KDE and Gnome Live CDs built here and booted with both qemu-kvm and VBox. With the addition of libreoffice, the size of the KDE CD is 794MiB, and the Gnome CD is 746 MiB.
